We offer collaborative programs that involve advanced coursework and intense graduate level research training in the Pharmaceutical Sciences. The PharmD/PhD in pharmaceutical sciences typically takes seven years.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0. Students should not have been on academic probation for any semester in the graduate or professional program.
Two letters of recommendation
Research experience is desirable. Students should identify a faculty mentor in the Pharmaceutical Sciences prior to application.
Note: Bachelor’s degree and GRE are NOT required for PharmD candidates.
How to Apply
PhD applications must be submitted by Dec. 31 prior to fall admission. Late applications are not considered.
Apply via the Graduate School Application Manager. - Current PharmD: apply to the PharmD/MS program during your P1, P2 or P3 year. Or, apply to the PharmD/PhD during your P4 year. - Current PharmD/MS: apply to the PharmD/PhD program during your P3 year. - Choose the applications that include "Cohort." - Once you formally submit your application, your evaluators will automatically be notified to submit their letters of recommendations.
