The University at Buffalo (UB) School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPPS) student chapter of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) celebrated several individual and chapter awards at the 2024 AMCP Nexus conference held October 14-17 in Las Vegas, NV.

PharmD students from the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPPS) worked to improve the health and safety of our local community on October 26 during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

As one of the most highly recognized pharmaceutical sciences PhD programs in the country, the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (UB SPPS) is proud to recognize incoming PhD students who have received high-level awards, fellowships and recognitions. These new incoming PhD students will help support and drive ground-breaking pharmaceutical sciences research in areas such as drug discovery, development, biotherapeutics and novel delivery systems. 

The UB School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPPS) is thrilled to announce the official launch of our six newly established Learning and Engagement Community (LEC) houses.

For Livia Chase, PharmD ’24, participating in a medical trip to Ghana was an impactful experience that highlighted the importance of providing compassionate patient care.

The Student Pharmacists Association of Western New York (SPAWNY) hosted Pharmacy Legislative Advocacy Invitational Day (PLAID) on Nov. 14 to give our PharmD students the opportunity to discuss new legislation that affects health care with area legislators.

On October 28, PharmD students from the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPPS) worked to improve the health and safety of our local community during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

The University at Buffalo (UB) School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPPS) student chapter of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) is the recipient of the AMCP 2023 Chapter of the Year Award. This is the first time the SPPS student chapter has won this award.
