Yeh-Hsing “Sima” Lao, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, has been named to the Early Career Board (ECB) of Nano Letters, a leading journal of the American Chemical Society (ACS) and one of the most prestigious publications in the nanoscience and nanotechnology fields.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The University at Buffalo (UB) School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPPS) welcomed incoming students and celebrated the start of the fall 2025 semester with a series of Welcome Week events, including a multi-day orientation, a school-wide ice cream social and the White Coat Ceremony for first-year PharmD students.

Ashley Woodruff, PharmD, BCPS, clinical associate professor of pharmacy practice at the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPPS), has been named a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP). She has also been appointed associate dean for professional education at SPPS, effective Aug. 1, 2025.
