Shape Your Research Experience to Fit Your Goals

Our online master’s program offers a flexible, student-centered research experience that supports a wide range of interests—from data analysis and simulations to literature reviews and applied projects. Whether working independently or as part of a team, you’ll have the opportunity to tailor your research to align with your academic and professional goals.

In PHC 615, you’ll build foundational skills in grant writing, from crafting a compelling proposal to simulating and evaluating a research plan.

In PHC 616, you’ll complete your capstone by choosing one of two options:

  • Demonstrate your mastery by taking a cumulative, master’s-level exam that assesses your knowledge across the program.
  • Complete a research project—this could be a review, simulation, or applied study—guided by your employer or UB Pharmaceutical Sciences faculty.

Together, these courses empower you to take ownership of your learning and graduate with the confidence and experience to take the next step in your career or education.
