Why I chose UB Pharmacy: The School of Pharmacy has a great reputation and is able to provide many educational opportunities to students. More specifically, UB SPPS offers multiple dual degree options, which I knew was a great opportunity to branch out into other areas of study and would help me secure an ideal job after graduation. I first visited UB the summer before I began applying to pharmacy school, and I immediately felt welcomed and right at home in Buffalo and at UB.

Why I chose UB Pharmacy: I chose UB because UB SPPS is a highly ranked and well regarded pharmacy program. I also liked that it has the EA program as well as numerous dual degree programs. Attending the Pharmacy Summer Institute also helped cement my decision because it showcased the resources and connections available at UB, as well as UB SPPS’s wonderful staff and faculty.

Fun Fact: In my free time, I enjoy reading webtoons, drawing and painting. My favorite mediums are oil paint and watercolor.
Why I chose UB Pharmacy: In my junior year of high school, I was deciding between Oregon State University and the University at Buffalo's pharmacy programs. I interviewed for both Early Assurance programs and was given an in-person tour for both. When comparing the two, I found that UB's Pharmacy Summer Institute was really helpful in my decision making process. I chose UB SPPS because there are an abundance of degree programs and resources that I was looking for in a pharmacy program, as well as great faculty, research opportunities and scholarships.

Why I chose UB Pharmacy: I struggled to determine what my future career would be in high school. However, in 2019, I attended the UB Pharmacy Summer Institute and I fell in love with the program at UB and pharmacy. I love the environment in the Pharmacy School because everyone, including my classmates and the faculty/staff, are very supportive, the atmosphere is also always encouraging learning, and lastly I heard that once you graduate the alumni are still very connected to the school. I also feel very linked to the Buffalo community because the majority of my family lives in Buffalo.

Why I chose UB Pharmacy: After attending PSI in 2017, I fell in love with the community and environment. Attending UB for undergrad really allowed me to connect with the community more. Working at a local Pharmacy allowed me to feel apart of the warm and welcoming community. Western New York had a lot to offer, and I was ready to jump in! UBSPPS was a great opportunity to take, and I am glad I did.

Why I chose UB Pharmacy: It was such a great resource as a teenager to have UB as a leading pharmacy school growing up, so it was a no-brainer as I was looking into colleges. I really got to know the school through PSI, tours and interviews.

Why I chose UB Pharmacy: Not only is the University at Buffalo's School of Pharmacy an amazing school ranking-wise, I fell in love with the sense of community among the students and faculty. I felt that having that support would be critical to my success.
