Modifying Your UB Profile

Follow these steps to modify data on your UB Profile.

Ensure Your UB Profile is Current

Recent faculty publications and research grants are important to showcase your professional accomplishments along with the academic and research leadership of our school. Keep your UB Profile up to date to ensure it displays your most recent accomplishments.

How to Modify Your UB Profile

1. Navigate to the section you want to update

Once logged into your UB Profile, navigate to the section you want to update (refer to Figure 1). 

2. Update each section of your UB Profile

Click the Edit button to view and update your data in each of the following sections of your UB Profile (refer to Figure 1).

  • Contact Information section
  • Specialty/Research Focus section
  • Faculty/Staff profile tabs  

Please note: existing faculty and staff profile data was transferred from our previous directory system, eCV. Please review all data in your UB Profile and make updates as appropriate.

4. Go back or cancel changes

As you're updating each section of your UB Profile, to go back to the previous screen, click the Back button at the top left of the screen. To cancel your changes, click the Cancel Changes button at the bottom of the screen.

5. Save Changes

When finished making your updates in each section of your UB Profile, click Save Changes at the bottom of the screen.

Your updates will be immediately reflected on your UB Profile and will be shared across additional menu pages, as appropriate.

6. View Updates

To see your newly updated profile data, go to our SPPS faculty and staff website directory and navigate to your personal profile.
