Jiajie Guan, PharmD ’22, received the Best Student Poster Award for his poster titled Association between Potentially Inappropriate Medication Prescribing and Health-related Quality of Life among U.S. Older Adults at the 2021 American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) Annual Meeting, held virtually.

Nicholas Cashman, PharmD/MBA ’22, has been selected as a recipient of a 2021 National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP) Ron Bookman Scholarship Award and Olivia Denny, PharmD ’22, received a 2021 National Community Pharmacists Association Presidential Scholarship.

On August 26, eighty-eight students took their first step toward becoming pharmacists when they participated in the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Annual White Coat Ceremony, in Slee Hall.

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) students from the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences took part in the Senator Ed Rath Health Fair on Saturday, August 8, at the Amherst Senior Center.

Twenty PharmD students from the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences were inducted in Phi Lambda Sigma, a national pharmacy leadership society that supports pharmacy leadership commitment by recognizing leaders and fostering leadership development.

University at Buffalo Pharmaceutical Sciences students were recognized at the 2021 Celebration of Student Academic Excellence, held virtually on April 21.

Two students from the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences will serve as regional officers for the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) Region 1, representing seven northeastern states from Maine to New York. 

The University at Buffalo chapter of Lambda Kappa Sigma (LKS) created homemade Valentine's Day cards for pediatric patients at Oishei Children's Hospital in Buffalo, NY.
