William Jusko, SUNY Distinguished Professor, pharmaceutical sciences, and Donald Mager, professor, pharmaceutical sciences, partnered with Michael Mayersohn, PhD ’71, professor at the University of Arizona, to present a five-day course in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in Shanghai, China, April 8-12, 2019.  

The University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (UB SPPS) took part in several mission trips to assist underserved populations in early 2019.

A manuscript by Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences Juliane Nguyen, PharmD, PhD, titled The Phenotypic Effects of Exosomes Secreted from Distinct Cellular Sources: a Comparative Study Based on miRNA Composition, has been selected for publication in a theme issue of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (APPS) Journal: "Pioneering Pharmaceutical Science by Emerging Investigators."

Robert Bies, associate professor, pharmaceutical sciences, is principal investigator on a grant from the Food and Drug Administration for his project entitled “Physiologically-based model of the female reproductive tract: vaginal and intrauterine delivery components.”
