PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Resident, UB SPPS/Middleport Family Health Center

Dr. Justin Cooper-Nurse is from Barker, NY. He earned his PharmD from D'Youville University. Dr. Cooper-Nurse's professional interests include diabetes technology, medication safety and compounding. Outside of pharmacy, he's an active member of his local Catholic church and enjoys cheering on the Florida Panthers.

PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Resident, UB SPPS/Middleport Family Health Center

Dr. Maria Dutcher is from Endicott, New York. She earned her PharmD and BS in Pharmaceutical Studies at the Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, New York. Her current professional interests include transitions of care and ambulatory care. In her free time, she enjoys playing golf, watching football and reading books.

Joshua Semock, PharmD

PGY1 Pharmacy Resident, UB SPPS/Buffalo Psychiatric Center 

Dr. Joshua Semock lived in the Chicagoland area and then in Denver while completing his PharmD at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. His undergraduate studies around medical anthropology sparked a lasting interest in biopsychosocial models of health. Professionally, he now focuses on psychiatric pharmacy, personalized medicine, pharmacogenomics and interventional psychiatry. He is committed to integrating modern pharmaceutical science with culturally responsive and philosophically informed care into clinical practice. His nonpharmacological interests include physical fitness, nature appreciation through hiking and photography, and the humanities—especially philosophy of mind, art and cuisine.
