PGY1 Pharmacy Resident, UB SPPS/Buffalo Psychiatric Center
Dr. Joshua Semock lived in the Chicagoland area and then in Denver while completing his PharmD at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. His undergraduate studies around medical anthropology sparked a lasting interest in biopsychosocial models of health. Professionally, he now focuses on psychiatric pharmacy, personalized medicine, pharmacogenomics and interventional psychiatry. He is committed to integrating modern pharmaceutical science with culturally responsive and philosophically informed care into clinical practice. His nonpharmacological interests include physical fitness, nature appreciation through hiking and photography, and the humanities—especially philosophy of mind, art and cuisine.
