Our SPPS embedded counselor provides a variety of services and programs to support your mental health and well-being.
UB Counseling Services has a counselor embedded in SPPS to provide our students with resources to be healthy and successful.
Our embedded counselor has two days each week dedicated to providing individual counseling to SPPS students in the Pharmacy Building. In addition, our counselor offers specialty workshops, group activities and engagement opportunities for students.

Professional Background: Passionate about offering individualized, empathetic and trauma informed care to those in need of support navigating a variety of life and academic stressors. Specializes in a holistic wellness approach, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. Experienced in working with diverse populations, varying age groups and addressing both mental health and substance use diagnoses.
Professional interests: Motivational interviewing, anxiety and mood disorders, trauma recovery, health and wellness, mindfulness, substance use concerns, interpersonal relationships and group counseling.
