Dean's Alumni Ambassadors

Our Dean's Alumni Ambassadors play a valuable role in the recruitment of prospective students and career enhancement of current students.

Dean's Alumni Ambassadors have a variety of opportunities to get involved:

Mentoring

Mentoring a student can be one of the most rewarding ways to support the school. As a mentor, you provide career development and guidance, advice and ideas to students. Best of all, you have full discretion to determine your time commitment. Mentoring can be as simple as a single phone call, connecting via social media, an email exchange or an in-depth conversation over a cup of coffee—your choice based on your schedule.

What Does a Mentor Do?

Mentoring is more than advising; it is a personal, as well as, professional relationship. A mentor provides advice and encouragement in order to help another person develop into a successful professional. Share your knowledge, give emotional support and moral encouragement, provide feedback, help find professional development opportunities, and always try to be a good listener and good problem-solver.

Admissions Reviewer

The perspective and experience of our alumni greatly enriches the selection of our P1 class.

As an admissions reviewer, you can have the opportunity to assist with prospective student interviews and electronically review PharmCAS applications.
