Presented to the graduate of the pharmacy program who demonstrated outstanding work in Biochemistry 403, in memory of Dr. Roger Mantsavinos, former Associate Professor of Biochemical Pharmacology

Phi Lambda Sigma Certification of Achievement, Chapter Member of the Year Award 
Presented to a member of Phi Lambda Sigma in acknowledgement of outstanding support and contributions to the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Lilly Achievement Award
Presented to a member of the graduating class having superior scholastic achievement in the professional curriculum, leadership qualities & professional attitude.

Michael E. Crawford Award
Presented to a member of the graduating class who exemplifies a spirit of perseverance, in memory of Michael E. Crawford, a 1979 graduate of the School of Pharmacy.

Eino Nelson Award
Presented to the member of the graduating class who demonstrated outstanding work in Biopharmaceutics, in memory of Dr. Eino Nelson, former Professor and Chairman of the Department of Pharmaceutics. 

UB Pharmacy Alumni Award
Presented by the UB Pharmacy Alumni Association to the member of the pharmacy graduating class who has best achieved a balance between academic performance and professional activities, and who has exhibited qualities of initiative, creativity and leadership. 

David E. Guttman Award
Presented to a member of the graduating class who has demonstrated a high degree of interest and achievement in the area of pharmaceutical analysis and physical pharmacy, in memory of Dr. David E. Guttman, former Professor of Pharmaceutics. 

Renee Dederich Award
Presented to a member of the graduating class or previous graduate who has chosen to pursue a pharmacy residency, in memory of Renee A. Dederich, a 1977 graduate of the School of Pharmacy, who received her PharmD. Degree, posthumously in 1979.

Francis Taylor Award
Established in the memory of Francis P. Taylor, a 1934 graduate of the UB School of Pharmacy and former Instructor in Pharmacy, for presentation to the outstanding member of the graduating class in the professional practice sequence. 

UB SPPS Professionalism Award
Presented to a member of the graduating class who exhibits the ideals of professionalism and excellence in patient care and who has demonstrated exceptional service and commitment to the profession of pharmacy through involvement in professional organizations and extracurricular learning opportunities.

Robert H. Ritz Award
An annual award established by Robert H. Ritz, a 1919 graduate of the UB School of Pharmacy, for presentation to the member of the graduating class attaining the highest standing in Biochemical Pharmacology. 

National Community Pharmacists Association Outstanding Student Member Award
Presented to a member of the graduating class in recognition of their entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to advancing independent community pharmacy practice.

Merck Award
A set of books, presented by Merck & Company to a member of the graduating class in recognition of high scholastic achievement.

ASP Patient Counseling Competition Award
Given to the student who represents the School of Pharmacy at the American Pharmaceutical Association, Academy of Students of Pharmacy Patient Counseling Competition.

Robert M. Cooper Memorial Award
Presented to a member of the graduating class for high academic achievement in pharmacy law and who exemplifies the qualities of ethics, integrity and commitment to excellence personified by Robert M. Cooper, former professor and associate dean of the School of Pharmacy.

Mylan Pharmaceutical Excellence in Pharmacy Award
Presented to a member of the graduating class in recognition of high academic achievement and professional motivation in a tangible and professionally meaningful manner.

Facts and Comparisons Award of Excellence in Clinical Communication
Presented to a member of the graduating class who has demonstrated high scholastic achievement, and superior verbal and written clinical communication skills.

Roy M. Barr
An annual award established by Roy M. Barr, a 1914 graduate of UB the School of Pharmacy, for presentation to the member of the graduating class who demonstrated outstanding work in Medicinal Chemistry.

Western New York Society of Health System (WNYSHP)
Presented to a member of the graduating class having a record of high academic achievement and an interest in institutional practice.

Samuel Bauda Award
An award established in memory of Samuel J. Bauda, for presentation to a member of the graduating class who exemplifies the qualities of leadership and dedication to community health care desirable in a community pharmacy practitioner.

Pharmacists Society of the State of New York (PSSNY)
Presentation to a member of the graduating class who has shown interest in, and taken part in, pharmaceutical organization activities.

Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database Recognition Award
Presented to a member of the graduating class who has demonstrated promise in improving patient care and shows an appreciation for scientific inquiry and an evidence-based approach to evaluating natural medicines.

McKesson Leadership Award
Presented to the student who has best served the University at Buffalo chapter of the Academy of Students of Pharmacy.

Margaret Swisher Award
An award established in memory of Margaret C. Swisher, Ph.D., by Dr. and Mrs. Alexander Slepian, for presentation to an outstanding pharmacy student in the field of Chemistry.

A. Bertram Lemon Award
Presented to a member of the graduating class who exemplifies the high ideals of scholarship and dedication to the profession of pharmacy, which were held by Dr. A. Bertram Lemon, former Dean of the UB School of Pharmacy.

Applied Pharmacotherapy Award
Presented to a pharmacy graduate for outstanding performance in the in-patient components of the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience Program.

Ambulatory Care PPEP Award
Presented to a pharmacy graduate for outstanding performance in the ambulatory components of the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience Program.

Pharmacists Association of Western New York Leadership Award (PAWNY)
Presented to a member of the graduating class who has shown leadership in professional organization activities and has maintained a good scholastic standing in the School of Pharmacy.

TEVA Pharmaceuticals USA Outstanding Student Award
Given to a graduating senior who in the opinion of the School, excels in the study of pharmacy.

Lori Esch Award Memorial Award
Presented to a member of the graduating class for demonstrated achievement in ambulatory pharmacotherapy management with an emphasis on patient counseling and education and who exemplifies the commitment to medication safety and beneficial outcomes personified by Dr. Lori Esch, a former assistant professor and HIV Pharmaceutical Care Specialist in the School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Excellence in Pharmacogenomics Award
Presented to a member of the graduating class who has demonstrated high academic achievement and outstanding work in Pharmacogenomics.

Kelli Jordan Memorial Award
The award was established through the generosity of Novartis, Inc. and is dedicated to the memory of a first year fellow, Kelli Jordan. The award is presented to a member of the graduating class who exemplifies the high ideals of scholarship and dedication to the profession of pharmacy with an interest in clinical pharmacy research.

Katherine Doyle Memorial Award for Excellence in Palliative Care

 The award is presented to a member of the graduating class who exemplifies the commitment for compassionate care with patients with life limiting conditions.
