Pharmacists in all practice settings licensed in New York State.
In New York state, pharmacy practice, controlled substance, insurance, and general business laws are changing to keep pace with demands of society. Regulations promulgated by state agencies are also changing. This program is designed to inform pharmacist practitioners, students, stakeholders, and other interested parties about the most recent amendments to these laws.
At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
1. Identify bills that have passed both the NYS Senate and the Assembly during 2025 and will be presented to the Governor.
2. Discuss bills that have been sponsored, and will be considered during 2026.
3. Recognize legislative issues of importance to the pharmacy profession, but not yet sponsored in the legislature.
4. Discuss recent regulations promulgated by New York's administrative agencies.

8:50 - 9:00 p.m. - Assessment and conclusion
Learners must be present for 70% or more of the webinar. Please ensure your screen name accurately identifies you and each learner is logged into the webinar individually to facilitate attendance tracking. The activity evaluation, which includes learning assessment questions, is a requirement for CPE credit to be awarded. There is no minimum passing score required for the learning assessment questions. It is strongly encouraged that all learners participate in the active learning components of the program to gain the full benefit of the educational activity.
