On Oct. 20, students from the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) were welcomed to our school to learn about the field of pharmacy and on how to apply to pharmacy school through the Rx for Success event hosted annually by the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA).

UB pharmacy students formed a panel to provide tips on how to bolster their candidacy as a pharmacy school applicant. Each CSTEP student was also given the opportunity to meet with a current pharmacy student to gain more insight about the field of pharmacy and develop a mentoring relationship.

CSTEP is a grant-funded program sponsored by the New York State Department of Education to support talented, underrepresented students who are pursuing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
