BUFFALO, N.Y. — UB is the recipient of a three-year, $1.2 million grant from the Department of Defense to develop effective therapeutic strategies that minimize the damaging effects of infection in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Hartmut Derendorf, PhD, Distinguished Professor Emeritus in the Department of Pharmaceutics at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, was the guest speaker for the 2019 Gerhard Levy Lectureship in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The outstanding research of both faculty and students in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences was recognized at the 2019 American Conference on Pharmacometrics (ACoP), the annual scientific meeting of the International Society of Pharmacometrics (ISoP).
