The University at Buffalo Department of Pharmacy Practice is comprised of  non-tenure track and tenure-track/tenured faculty leaders recognized for their innovations in practice, education, and research.  

Department faculty provide didactic and experiential coursework within the PharmD program to prepare students for advanced practice and post graduate training, engage in funded research, and strive to advance the profession through professional engagement and advocacy. 

Our department is composed of three operational divisions:

  • The Division of Clinical and Translational Therapeutics
  • The Division of Outcomes and Practice Advancement
  • The Division of Education and Teaching Innovation

Through education, research and service, the Department of Pharmacy Practice aims to improve health care outcomes and quality and to prepare the next generation of pharmacy leaders.
