Office of Information Technology

We provide technical support for the Students, Staff and Faculty of the University at Buffalo School or Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Services include:

  • Technical Support
  • Server Management
  • Classroom/Instructional Technology Support

We enforce all Information Technology Policies mandated by the University.

Getting Help

To request for IT service or to reserve equipment, contact pharm-repair@buffalo.edu. Equipment reservation requests need to include the information below.

  • Item(s) for reserve (computer, projection unit, camera etc.)
  • Dates items needed
  • Date on which items are to be returned

IT for Students

Getting Started

New students can refer to the Get Connected guide to find your UBITName and password, securing your computer, learning about research, and more.

You will be using Google Apps for Education, including Google mail, docs, chat, and calendar and some of your course material might be on iTunesU

You can access your files on UBFS (a file storage location) from just about anywhere.

If you don't have Microsoft Office yet, you can get it here for free at UB Information Technology.

Computer Labs

Printing

See Kapoor Hall Printer Mapping Instructions to enable printing from personal computers to the public printers in rooms 260, 340 and 440.

Workshops

The Center for Educational Innovation provides opportunities workshops, speakers, programs, discussion groups, and consultations for faculty, staff, and students. These services are intended to help the teaching and learning process, develop skills and methods to enhance teaching and learning, and include the latest developments in information technology and media to enrich course content and presentation and enhance the student’s educational experience.
