As part of the two-year fellowship, Chilbert will sit on an Honor’s College committee, host various Honors College events throughout the year, and have weekly office hours to engage with undergraduate honors students.

“Through this mentorship role, I hope to get Honors College students interested in pharmacy and retain students already in our Early Assurance program,” she says.

Chilbert is an alumnus of the Honors College. She is a board-certified cardiology pharmacist and conducts clinical research in cardiology pharmacotherapy. She also practices in the cardiac intensive care unit at Buffalo General Medical Center, where she teaches pharmacy students and residents through experiential education.

Through an innovative curriculum and unique opportunities outside the classroom, the UB Honors College challenges academically gifted students to enrich their studies and explore their interests across the disciplines.

“Dr. Chilbert not only brings her expertise and enthusiasm to the Honors College as a Faculty Fellow, but as a graduate herself she shares a unique connection with students,” says Karyn St. George, Honors College Administrative Director. “We are thrilled to have her back!”
