SPSSNY led by UB students for 2019-20

University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences students swept the 2019-20 officer elections for the Student Pharmacists Society of the State of New York (SPSSNY) at the PSSNY annual installation banquet.

The elected officers for 2019-20 are Michael Austin (PharmD/MBA '21), president; Olivia Denny (PharmD '22), president-elect;  Anna Augostini (PharmD '21), vice president; Kira Voyer (PharmD '21) secretary; and Christopher Schneider (PharmD/MBA '22), treasurer.

SPSSNY is the student chapter of the Pharmacists Society of the State of New York (PSSNY). SPSSNY aims to unite the pharmacists of the state for mutual assistance, encouragement and improvement to maintain the standard of pharmacy practice at a high professional and ethical level.

For over 130 years, the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences has continually been a leader in the education of pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists, renowned for innovation in clinical practice and research. The school is accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) and ranked as one of the top 25 schools of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences in the United States.
