SPPS and Taipei Medical University Enter Into Partnership

Taiwan’s Taipei Medical University has partnered with the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (UB SPPS) for the purposes of student education, scientific research, exchange of research scholars and development of joint programs.

The school was pleased to host from Taipei Medical University: Hung-Yi Chiou, Vice President, Jackson Chieh-His Wu, Dean College of Pharmacy, Chih-Hwa Chen, MD, Dean College of Biomedical Engineering, and Nai-Wen Kuo, Dean of International Affairs, for the official signing of the memorandum of understanding.  Michael Cain, MD, vice president health sciences and dean, UB Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and James O’Donnell, dean, UB School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, also signed the agreement.

The school looks forward to the growth of this partnership for the mutual benefit of both universities’ education and research initiatives.
