An article in the latest issue of International Educator explores how pharmacy schools on university campuses are balancing various options to deliver the best solutions to influence local and global health.

The prestigious and well-established international experiences offered by the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences are highlighted. Special focus is given to two class of 2016 PharmD students, Sara DiTursi and Ciera Patzke.

Sara DiTursi spent five weeks in Taiwan with the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF) to learn about Chinese medicine and its integration with pharmacy medicine.

Ciera Patzke is the founder of Student Pharmacists for Global Outreach and has organized medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Honduras.
