International Application Requirements

Application Requirements

In addition to your program application, as an international student you will need to provide the following materials as electronic uploads. Please do not send any mail, unless instructed to do so.

Submit to PharmCAS:

  • WES Course-by-Course International Credential Advantage Package (ICAP)
If you provide the standard WES Document-by-Document Report, you will be required to provide official transcripts if admitted. If you provide the WES iCAP, you will not be required to provide transcripts.

If you already possess a valid credit evaluation,  and wish to see if it will meet the standards required for application review, then you may email a copy of that evaluation to pharm-admit@buffalo.edu for consultation from an advisor. Students that submit credit evaluations that do not equate to the standards of the WES Course-by-Course International Credential Advantage Package (ICAP) or the standard WES Document-by-Document Report may be asked to pursue additional an additional equivalent evaluation for application review.

  • Official English proficiency scores
In addition to meeting the standard academic criteria for the program to which you are applying, international applicants must also demonstrate English proficiency. Unless exempt, all international students must take one of the tests indicated here and meet the university minimum score requirement. Send your TOEFL or IELTS score report to PharmCAS.
