Important Notes about PharmCAS:

  • Apply through PharmCAS only if you plan to have all prerequisite courses complete by the end of summer prior to fall admission into the PharmD program. To apply to UB to complete your prerequisites, visit Undergraduate Admissions or International Admissions.
  • Please read PharmCAS Application Instructions and refer to our PharmCAS School Page and follow instructions carefully. A limited number of PharmCAS Application Fee waivers are available to financially disadvantaged applicants on a first-come, first-serve basis (apply before Sept. 1).
  • When entering coursework, select the subject that best describes the content of the course curriculum. See the PharmCAS Course Subject list.
  • All official transcripts from previously attended institutions, letters of reference and PCAT scores must be submitted directly to PharmCAS (not to UB SPPS) for verification. This is also applicable to current UB students.
  • AP Scores must be sent directly to UB SPPS. Credit will be granted according to UB's Alternative/Exam Credit policies. Students with international coursework should send a foreign transcript evaluation report (WES or WES ICAP) to PharmCAS.

PharmCAS processing may take up to two weeks once all required materials are received.
