Dr. Carolyn O'Donnell is from Barrington, IL and received her undergraduate degree in Music Business and the Entertainment Industries from the University of Miami and worked in the music industry before making the switch to pharmacy. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota and completed her PGY1 at University at Buffalo/Buffalo Psychiatric Center. Her professional interests include mental health, substance use disorders, leadership, quality improvement, pharmacovigilance, writing manuscripts, and academia. She is also currently the Trainee Chair for the American College of Clinical Pharmacy’s Central Nervous System Practice & Research Network – Student & Resident Committee. Outside of pharmacy, Dr. O'Donnell enjoys hiking, photography, music, and spending time with her (almost) three-year-old daughter and will be welcoming her newborn in October.
