The Clinical and Translational Therapeutics (CTT) Division Head, a key strategic leadership position with the Department of Pharmacy Practice, will lead a group of world‐class faculty members who are driving innovative clinical and translational research work to enhance patient outcomes through cutting edge scientific discovery.

The Division of Clinical and Translational Therapeutics is centered on advancing the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences research mission while also supporting its educational mission.

Position Overview

The CTT Division Head will hold the rank of tenured associate professor or full professor.

Demonstration of leadership and engagement in and sustained contributions to pharmacy education and research/scholarship is preferred. Candidates must possess a strong track record of scholarship, including original research and grantsmanship with most qualified candidates demonstrating prior leadership and management experiences or ability to clearly articulate their motivation and potential to do so.

Candidates must possess high level communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to bring together faculty to strategically plan and execute; be a team player, with experience managing, leading, and developing people; and be able to articulate and advocate a shared vision for advancing pharmacy practice, research/scholarship, and education.
