
Dr. Wenqing Gao, an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, received her B.S. in pharmacy from China Pharmaceutical University in 1997, and Ph.D. in pharmaceutics from The Ohio State University in 2004, followed by two years of post-doctoral training in molecular pharmacology. Her current research interests include nuclear receptor biology and drug metabolism, with focuses on the structural biology and molecular mechanism of actions of nuclear receptors and coregulators, molecular pharmacology of selective nuclear receptor modulators, and nuclear receptor-mediated xenobiotic response in drug metabolism.
