DR. WILLIAM J. JUSKO, is Professor and Chairman of Pharmaceutical Sciences, received his B.S. Pharm. (1965) and Ph.D. (1970) degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He then joined the Clinical Pharmacology Section of the Boston Veterans Administration Hospital and taught in the Pharmacology Dept. of the Boston University School of Medicine. His awards include a Fulbright-Hays Fellowship (1978), Rawls-Palmer Award from ASCPT (1987), Doctor Honoris Causae, Jagiellonian University (1987), Distinguished Service Award from ACCP (1989), and Research Achievement Award in Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, and Drug Metabolism from AAPS (1998). His research interests involve basic, clinical, and theoretical pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics with a special emphasis on corticosteroids and immunosuppressive agents.
