Dr. Sathy Balu-Iyer
Dr. Sathy V. Balu-Iyer (Sathyamangalam V. Balasubramanian) is a
Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He was a postdoctoral
fellow in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, State University of
New York at Buffalo. He received his Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics from
Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore India. His research interests
include pharmaceutical biotechnology, protein/peptide and gene based
pharmaceuticals and their delivery. His scientific interests also lie in
the broad area of molecular biophysics; protein-protein, protein-drug, and
protein-membrane interaction. He is the associate director of the
Pharmaceutical Sciences Instrumentation Facility.
