CPE Monitoring System

The Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) have recently announced a new electronic tracking service for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians called CPE Monitor. The purpose of CPE Monitor is to authenticate and store data for completed CPE units received by pharmacists and pharmacy technicians from ACPE-accredited providers. Beginning in the latter part of 2011, each pharmacist and pharmacy technician will be required to set up a NAPB e-Profile to receive a unique e-Profile ID number. In order to obtain credit for any ACPE-accredited CPE activities, a participant will have to provide his/her NAPB e-Profile ID number and birth date to the ACPE accredited provider. Pharmacists and technicians are encouraged to obtain their NAPB e-Profile ID now to ensure their e-Profile is properly set up.
