Dr Ceacareanu's research focuses on elucidating the mechanisms of cancer invasion induced or exacerbated by hallmarks of diabetes type 2, inflammation and nitric oxide. Her laboratory also aims at developing predictive screening tools to forecast cancer recurrence and guide antineoplastic therapy to improve treatment outcomes
