Phi Delta Chi raises over $2,000 for charity

The University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences chapter of Phi Delta Chi held a very successful fundraiser on Saturday, April 22, for Comforting Hugs Foundation.

Comforting Hugs is a local organization, founded in 2013, that helps sick children and their families during difficult times by providing care packages and other supportive services.

The event featured basket raffles, a 50/50 split and door prizes. Over 60 people attended and helped raise over $2,000 for the foundation.

Phi Delta Chi advances the science of pharmacy, encourages development of leadership abilities, and promotes fraternal spirit among its members.

The University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is a leader in the education of pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists, renowned for innovation in clinical practice and research.
