Tour de Cure: UB Pharmacy Team Support Diabetes Research

The American Diabetes Association held its annual Tour de Cure on June 2 and the UB Pharmacy team raised $5,920. The 12-member team was first in fundraising in the club/organization division and ninth overall—not bad for a rookie year. Bob Wahler finished just outside the Top 10 individual fundraisers with a total of $2,680. Although the weather was windy and rainy, all participants had a great time and completed their rides. Anyone interested in joining next year's team should contact Bob Wahler at rgwahler@buffalo.edu. For details on the 2013 ride, visit the Tour de Cure website.
