Laura Bielecki, PharmD

Dr. Laura Bielecki received her Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Business Administration from the University at Buffalo. She completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at the Columbia VA Health Care System in Columbia, South Carolina. She is currently the PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Resident at General Physician, PC. Her professional interests include working in the ambulatory care setting managing chronic disease states such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. In her free time, Dr. Bielecki enjoys exploring Buffalo and traveling the world.

Foster.

Amanda Foster, PharmD

Dr. Foster grew up in Akron, New York and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from D’Youville College School of Pharmacy in Buffalo, New York. She is currently working towards completing a PGY-1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency at Middleport Family Health Center. In addition, she is working towards her Advanced Teaching Certificate at the University at Buffalo. Dr. Foster’s pharmacy career interests include transitions of care, geriatrics, precepting, and academia. Ultimately, she would like to become a Board-Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (BCGP), practicing in transitions of care with the geriatric population while hosting pharmacy students at her clinical practice site and teaching pharmacy classes related to her career interests. In her spare time, Dr. Foster enjoys fishing, listening to country music, four-wheeling, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on her favorite Buffalo sports teams. 

Chehovich.

Charisse Chehovich, PharmD

Dr. Charisse Chehovich grew up in Auburn, NY and currently lives in Cheektowaga, NY. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry from Canisius College prior to receiving her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at the Buffalo Psychiatric Center in June 2019 and is continuing her residency training as a PGY-2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Resident at the Buffalo Psychiatric Center. Her professional interests include psychopharmacology and substance use disorder. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family and two dogs, Remi and Griffin. Dr. Chehovich enjoys the outdoors, renovating her house, and watching HGTV.

Panthapattu.

Dr. Panthapattu was born in Kerala, India and raised in Congers, NY. She completed the early assurance program at the University at Buffalo and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her professional interests include transitions of care, primary care, and ambulatory care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, trying new ice cream parlors, and exploring the great outdoors through walks and hikes.

Hoelzl.

Troy Hoelzl, PharmD

Dr. Hoelzl was born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised in Lancaster, NY. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and completed his PGY-1 Community Pharmacy Residency at the Middleport Family Health Center. He is currently a PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Resident at Buffalo Medical Group. Dr. Hoelzl’s professional interests include diabetes management, quality improvement, and precepting students. In the future, Dr. Hoelzl plans on a career in ambulatory care and/or academia. In his spare time, he enjoys running, playing the drums, watching his favorite sports teams, and travelling.

Dr. Robert Bennett earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2018. He completed his PGY-1 residency training at the Lebanon VA Medical Center in Lebanon, PA. His professional interests include primary/ambulatory care, diabetes education and management, and cardiovascular risk reduction therapy. In his free time, he enjoys include playing with his dog, reading, and cycling.
