PharmD Micro-Credential Programs

Micro-credential.

The following optional programs provide students with specialized knowledge in research, teaching, and professional development beyond that provided by the core curriculum. They are intended to prepare students for postgraduate training. Students apply to these programs during the second professional year. There is no added time to degree.

This program, available to all Doctor of Pharmacy students, provides recognition of proficiency in the fundamental skills necessary for practicing the profession of pharmacy, specifically the Pharmacists' Patient Care Process.

The Scholars Program is designed to identify students with demonstrated excellence in academic achievement having an interest in postgraduate training, specifically pharmacy residency training.

The Clinical Research Program (CRP) is an opportunity for third and fourth year PharmD students to elevate themselves for placement in fellowships and residencies via individualized clinical and translational research programs.
