The following optional programs provide students with specialized knowledge in research, teaching, and professional development beyond that provided by the core curriculum. They are intended to prepare students for postgraduate training. Students apply to these programs during the second professional year. There is no added time to degree.
This program, available to all Doctor of Pharmacy students, provides recognition of proficiency in the fundamental skills necessary for practicing the profession of pharmacy, specifically the Pharmacists' Patient Care Process.
The Clinical Research Program (CRP) is an opportunity for third and fourth year PharmD students to elevate themselves for placement in fellowships and residencies via individualized clinical and translational research programs.
The Global Health Pharmacy micro-credential provides an opportunity for you to engage in a competency-based global health curriculum to achieve the status of “Global Citizen” as recognized by the Consortium of Universities for Global Health.
The Scholars Program provides enhanced curricular and leadership experiences to better prepare students interested in residency training to excel in post-graduate training.
