Chi-Hua Lu, PharmD
Pharmacoinformatics Fellow                       

Dr. Lu was born and raised in Taiwan and earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Taipei Medical University (TMU) and practiced as a licensed pharmacist in Taiwan afterwards. He then earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (UB SPPS).  He is currently completing a postdoctoral Pharmacoinformatics Fellowship at the University at Buffalo Center for Health Outcomes, Pharmacoinformatics, and Epidemiology (cHOPE). His fellowship primarilyfocuses on Drug Utilization Review (DUR), Retrospective Drug Utilization Review (RetroDUR), and Drug Information (DI) as part of a collaboration with the New York State Department of Health. He is also involved in developing an international clinical research collaboration opportunity with international partners in Taiwan. Dr. Lu plans on pursuing a career in academia after his fellowship training.
