The University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is offering a two-year clinical research fellowship for individuals who want to develop skills as an independent researcher in pharmaceutical health services and outcomes research. The fellow will collaborate with health care professionals to perform outcomes-based research and improve comprehensive pharmacy care. During the fellowship, the fellow will plan, conduct, and disseminate results for at least 2-3 distinct research projects. The fellow will also have clinical opportunities within the UBMD Primary Care Clinics. The fellow will have options to receive formal training in epidemiology and biostatistics, which can be applied to a Masters of Public Health. The goal of the fellowship program is to facilitate opportunities in academia, pharmaceutical industry, managed care, or health provider organizations.
PharmD or equivalent experience. PGY1 residency in pharmacy practice is preferred.
