FAQs

  1. Is the CanceRxCE™ program really free?
    Yes, to all pharmacists that have not completed a residency or fellowship living or working, or that are unemployed but live in New York City (i.e. Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens, and Richmond Counties).
    We also offer two paid options for those pharmacists that do not meet these criteria. See the bottom of the Registration page for the paid options.

  2. I am a pharmacist, but I am currently not working. Can I enroll in the CanceRxCE™ program?
    Yes, if you currently live or previously worked in New York City.

  3. Are there any regions that will recieve preference for the free program?
    Yes, the support form the NYS Department of Health targets Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens, and Richmond Counties. However, we are working to expand the program for Community Pharmacists state and nation-wide. There are only 3000 free trainee positions available and priority will be given in the order of enrollment. By enrolling and completeing the program early, you can gaurantee your free spot.
